Coming from Los Angeles, California, I love to occasionally read the LA Times to keep up with happenings back home. A couple of days ago, I was so excited to see an article titled, “Wigging Out is So In: More than ever, stars and models are augmenting their natural hair with wigs, woven-in or clip-on extensions or hairpieces”
I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen pictures of celebrities with gorgeous hair in magazines and couldn’t stop myself from being jealous of their beautiful hair. I’ve spent so much time wondering why I was stuck with hair that would never look so voluminous and healthy. Though I knew celebrities had teams of stylists, I assumed the hair was their own. Boy was I wrong.
As the LA Times article points out, “No matter their ethnicity, stars and models frequently augment their natural hair with wigs, woven-in or clip-on extensions or hairpieces.” Most, if not all, celebrities utilize either clip-in hair extensions, lace-front wigs, or weave.
The article talks about the booming popularity of extensions and wigs – and not just on the red carpet. It says that real hair extensions and wigs are growing in popularity for women everywhere, as they should!
And what a relief that is! If you are at all like me, no doubt you’ve envied the beautiful and full hair of celebrities. But you are not alone in any of your hair insecurities – even the celebrities don’t have naturally perfect hair. But we can all get the look! We women deserve to stop experiencing hair-envy; we deserve to have beautiful hair of our own. And this is possible – and easy to achieve – for ALL hair types with great quality real hair extensions for weave, clip-in hair extensions, and real hair wigs.
In the LA-times article, Mary Guerrero, chief hairstylist for “Dancing With the Stars,” also described booming trend of bangs and side-swept bangs, and she says that she uses “clip-on bangs like nobody’s business on ‘Dancing With the Stars.” She thinks that perhaps the spread of the popularity of clip-on fringe and clip-on bangs on the red carpet is a result of the influence of Rooney Mara from “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” and Zooey Deschanel from “New Girl.” Either way, it’s an adorable look that’s very in style and very achievable for anyone! Clip-on fringe and clip-on bangs are a fun and easy way to add a little flair to any hairstyle.
So whether just to to add a little something to your hair every once in a while, or to enhance your every day look, clip-on hair extensions, real hair extensions for weave, clip-on bangs, clip-on fringe, and wigs are very in-style.
