Hairweavon's Yinka with former Miss Nigeria Ireland winners at the Hope and Smile charity event in July 2012. The event was also attended by actress Funke Akindele. The charity was set up to raise funds for 'Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin' and the Cancer Research Centre at the University of Lagos (UNILAG). HairWeavon is happy to donate €10 for every chemotherapy wig sold from the 29th July 2012 until the end of 2012 to the Hope & Shine Charity.
