Lace wig’s are designed with a sheer lace base and the hair is hand tied to the wig cap.

There are 2 types of lace wigs – Full lace wig and Front lace wig

Full Lace Wigs have a base made entirely of lace and the wig cap requires tape or adhesive to secure the wig around the hairline.

Lace wigs can also have “baby hair” around the temple areas which is used to cover up any visible signs of lace on the forehead and the baby hair also helps to create a realistic hairline.

Once the tape or bond adhesive has been applied, the lace wig will usually stay bonded for up to a week and you can wear in throughout the day and night.

When using the wig bond or adhesive tape to secure the wig, make sure to use the lace bond remover to safely loosen the bond before taking the wig off your head.

Front lace wigs have lace at the front only and this resembles a natural hair line.

The rest of the cap uses a stronger, thicker material.

Wig bond or adhesive tape is not necessary but it may be used in the front where the lace is and it has a wig strap at the back to further secure the wig. This wig can be taken off every night.
