What is a closure hair piece?

A lace closure is a small hair piece used to conceal hair loss on the crown of the head or other areas of hair
loss on the head. A closure is often used in combination with weave hair extensions application. It gives a more natural hairline and/or parting in the front of the weave application.

What’s the difference between a hair closure and a frontal?
A lace closure is a small hair piece. A standard closure size is approx 3.5 inches x 4 inches. The standard base material can be either lace or silk.

A Frontal hair piece is a larger hair piece. The standard frontal hair piece size is 13 inches x 4 inches which covers the front
hair line from ear to ear. It can be secured either by taping down, bonding or used in combination with a weave hair extensions application.

What is the difference between a Silk or lace Closures?
Lace is a transparent material; you can see the lace if you look up close.
Lace is very flat to the head so it blends in well with the rest of the hair.

Silk lace closure base closures last longer. Silk lace closures have a scalp like appearance. It looks like the hair is growing out of the scalp and the silk has a
realistic pale scalp colour. Silk closures are a thicker material and are not as flat to the head like the lace is.
