Regularly washing your wigs and hair toppers is imperative to prolonging their life. It is important to use products specially formulated with essential ingredients to keep your synthetic wig looking good for longer. Follow the simple steps below to keep your synthetic wigs clean and healthy.

Steps to Wash Your Wig
  1. Fill a sink or bowl with enough water to cover your wig.

2. Add a small amount of synthetic hair shampoo to the water.

3. Turn your wig or topper inside out.

4. Place your wig or hair topper in the water to soak for 10 minutes.

5. Rinse the hair in lukewarm water until the water runs clear.

6. Repeat steps 1-5 with the Synthetic Hair Balm. This will revitalize the fibres with shine and keep them soft and supple.

7. Dab the moisture out with a towel.

8. Gently comb the wig to remove any knots formed during the wash. Never force the comb or pull on the hair. Move slowly with care.

9. Let the wig dry completely on a wig stand.

10. When the hair is damp or dry, spray the conditioner from a distance of 10cm into the ends and tips of the hair. This adds a protective film to hair and adds additional shine and structure.

11. If you wear your wig daily, repeat these steps once or twice a week.
