About the Great Pink Run

The Great Pink Run 2013 The great pink run is in aid of breast cancer and takes place at 10am on Saturday 31st of August in the Phoenix Park. You have the option of a 10k challenge (10am) or a 5k family fun run, jog or walk (10.40am).

Unfortunately we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. Men, women and children are encouraged to take part in this great event to help race for a cure. Everybody who registers are in with a chance to win a new Nissan Micra. There will be entertainment and amusements for the whole family. All proceeds from the race for to Breast Cancer Ireland. Breast Cancer Ireland is a charity established to support research into breast cancer as well as promoting education and awareness nationwide. Their goal is, through research, to transform Breast Cancer, from often being a fatal disease to a chronic illness that can be maintained long-term through treatment. Investment in Research is vital in advancing a Cure.
