Codilia Gapare joined us on our Instagram Live to talk all about her experience with breast cancer and how that trial inspired the C-Lash. On August 11, 2014 Cody was shocked when her doctor informed her that she had breast cancer. She was not expecting that news and even went to an interview for a university after being diagnosed. Processing the news was not easy for Cody. “Breast Cancer” are two words no person ever wants to hear. It was not part of her plan. In spite of her diagnosis, Codilia was accepted to the university and cancer was not going to stop her.

After the cancer diagnosis she knew hair loss was going to be a part of her story. However, like many, she didn’t realize that included eyebrows and eyelashes. She soon realized there was not a product on the market for someone with no lashes. The false lashes available at that time needed the support of natural lashes to be applied correctly. It was at that moment that Codilia made a choice to create a lash that she could confidently wear.

Through much trial and error, the C-Lash was born. It was originally something just for Codilia. Something to help her through chemotherapy and losing her lashes. She never intended it to be a product to sell until her friend with Alopecia expressed her interest in the lashes. From that point on, Codilia partnered with Eylure to take her lashes to the world. Using her journey with breast cancer to motivate her, she knew if she could conquer cancer she could launch this product.

The Natural C-Lash is HairWeavon’s newest product! They are false lashes that are easy to apply and stay in place all day long. The lashes come with an adhesive band to easily peel and stick to your lash line. The clear, self-adhesive band increases the stability of your false lashes. The band provides a bigger, more solid foundation for the lashes to stick to the eyelid and remain in place all day. With long-lasting wear, it is ideal for lash replacement or can be used by anyone who wishes for an easier lash application. Glue is included for added security, but optional.

It is recommended to apply the lashes to a clean eyelid and then put your liner and shadow on top of the lash band. However, you can do what works best for you.
